In Last week, in excess of 533 million Facebook users had their personal data posted on a public forum, which is raising concerns on Facebook users around the world. The freely exposed personal data is accepted to be a consequence of a Facebook vulnerability named “Add Friend” which is exploited by hackers in 2019. The bug allowed hackers to siphon a huge number of user details from Facebook and sell them to the most elevated bidder on illegal online markets such as dark-web.
